Through The Rescue Trust of North West Golden Retriever Club, we provide a dedicated service for the emergency rescue and re-homing of goldens. Unfortunately since March 2026 we are having to scale back on the general rehoming of goldens, but will still carry out emergency rehoming on a case by case basis.
We have rescued a great many golden retrievers in the last few years some of who we will continue to financially support with their veterinary fees.

After many years in operation, unfortunately rehoming will now continue on a scaled down basis.
The charity will continue to provide financial assistance for veterinary fees for current dogs already supported. Additional funding for rehomed dogs will be considered on case by case basis.
The Charity will continue to consider providing one-off donations towards emergency veterinary care for golden retrievers in the North West.
There will still be a need for some fundraising, and we hope we can count on your continued support.
