Through The Rescue Trust of North West Golden Retriever Club, we provide a dedicated service for the rescue and re-homing of goldens. If for any reason your circumstances mean you need to re-home your golden retriever, we will do our very best to find him/her a wonderful new home.
We have rescued a great many golden retrievers in the last few years and we are pleased to say that only on one occasion have they had to be kennelled, and that was due to the local authority being involved. The dogs are collected and re-homed on the same day, going directly from home to home, as our aim is to be sure there is as little stress as possible and we find this is the best way.
Every golden is carefully matched to their new owners, we take great care to find them a loving home where they will be cherished and have companionship for most of the time.

Finding the right home for a rescued golden retriever is our top priority. We take great care in carrying out home checks to ensure that new owners can provide the love and attention these dogs require for the rest of their lives.
Our commitment to the breed means we are always looking for good homes, especially for older dogs who need re-homing due to various reasons.
Our dedication doesn’t stop once the dogs are placed in a new home. In the case of older goldens, we offer assistance with any potential veterinary medical costs that may arise in the future.
If you are looking for a golden retriever or need to find a new home for your beloved golden due to unforeseen circumstances, we are here to offer help. Our goal is to ensure that these wonderful dogs find loving and safe environments where they can thrive. We understand the importance of a good match, whether you’re adopting or rehoming.
