The Club

When the Club was formed, the main objectives were, and continue to be, to promote and encourage the responsible breeding of Golden Retrievers which conform to the Kennel Club Breed Standard, to encourage and promote the training and working of the Golden Retriever and to encourage and promote shows, field trials and working tests. The health and welfare of Golden Retrievers has always been important to the Club and our Members. The Club’s Code of Conduct has been devised to support these objectives and many of our activities.

We cover the areas of Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Derbyshire and include North Wales for Rescue.
