Unfortunately due to their popularity, Golden Retrievers are one of the breeds that finds itself targeted by unscrupulous breeders. Often the conditions the puppies are reared in are terrible. It is important that you undertake thorough research before introducing a puppy to your family.
Contrary to popular belief, responsible reputable breeders do not charge premium prices, in fact you may often find yourself paying considerably less for a well bred puppy from fully health tested parents.
